Unveil Thy Soul
Bare your soul for others to see,
As the dreary life force of a frayed soul begs upon the thoughts of the tame.
Show yourself for what is truly confidential,
And endure the pain of an unyielding sentence of love and hate beyond repair.
Love the meek and take the strong.
Fulfill the tales of a story once told by a lifeless power among a crowd of perilous thieves,
Edging their way in for the chance to clutch at the words that flow from a mouth,
As if the verses that are told derive from an open wound within the soul.
The zealous dreams float down from the heavens,
As a feather riding the wind that lands upon a cordial being among the fields of jubilant overtures and tales of a life untold.
Looking for the key to a broken lock within a fortified heart,
And searching for a way in to unveil the pain and learn the truth.
As the beat of the heart is the only sound that fills your ears because you are so close to the realm of life beyond what you see.
Where beauty is more than a face but a passion and pain is more than a feeling but a reality.
Bare thy soul for others to see,
As the realm of a life is not far from the surface of an unearthed being,
Lying amongst the sand and dirt of a consequential past of a life worth living and a song worth singing.
