Unwanted

A boundary concrete in degradation turns objectification into contemplation. Luminous and effervescent eyes turn cold and flat with each step towards resurrection. A life abandoned now restored with hope and anticipation— only to fall flat from a high that was perceived as the base. Mourning to glory; calm to fury— the prior presence persists placated and personified in ambiguous and arbitrary alliterative confrontation with no reasoning. As the baby's breath draws the ire of the bouquet, so too does a life locked into a former self.
