Unwanted Horrors
Through school, I roam,
Just like most others.
To learn and grow,
Finding things to discover.
But one thing keeps me,
From attaining that goal.
I'm a ghost afterall,
Scaring everyone home.
I want to stay,
Be like other students.
They hate me and fear me,
I say I'm still human.
They say I'll possess them,
Say I'll take all their lives.
Say a person comes near me,
That person just dies.
Call me a monster,
If that's what you will.
Be afraid and disgusted,
At the horrors I instill.
Though it's not all bad,
There's still someone who wants me.
I've got just one friend,
His name's James, he's a zombie.
He's accepted his fate,
staying away from the others.
I refuse to give up,
Maybe go undercover.
They hate me after all,
Because I died a time ago.
I will make friends at school.
Even if they don't know.
