Updating Mary

A startling buzz and a blinding flash

awakened the people

Possessed with a loud crash

The rest saw a ripple,

Advancing from the mirror

Pushed upon the future

Mary could see it clearer

Following the culture

The candles, the lights

All glazed upon the gore

Darkening the nights

Updating her lore

Bloody Mary repeated 3 times

The candles would shake

And the glistening flames

Loosened - God’s sake

The phone would awaken

Across the screen

Gore, red mistaken

Good or bad

The lore scarred the teens
