Uplift Me

Tightly capped

Unable to adapt

I find myself trapped

Misunderstood and resorting to depression naps

Arise paper and pen

Lift my spirits again

Get me through the day

Remind me of back when

When I was truly happy

Comfort me and tell me this isn’t the end

Once again I feel the dead

Like split ends

You trim me setting me free

My expression flows through you like a pantomime

What a time to be alive

Paper and pen arise
