Upon The Bridge

At this time in my life I’ll make a choice, I’ll listen to that tiny voice. I’ll hear it when I reach that place, The Bridge of beauty and full of grace. Upon The Bridge I’ll hope to find, The aspirations I had in mind. I must admit, I will be scared, But after time, I’ll be prepared. Crossing The Bridge will prove to me, That I can be anything I want to be. I might stumble a time or two, But getting back up is what I’ll do. “I can do it” is what I’ll think, My future and goals are soon to be linked. I’ll be independent, finding new routes, Making decisions while having my doubts. To God I will pray, because HE’s who I’ll need, I’ll ask him to give me the strength to proceed. I won’t give up, I will be strong, Although this journey may be long. Across The Bridge a new world I will face, My whole life I’ve waited to reach this place. When I finally reach it I’ll have fewer fears, With my mission accomplished now my future is near.
