Uprising

What even is life?

Feels like a knife.

But what if I'm sterile,

They won't sing a carol.

I want to contribute to life,

Hopefully they do not give strife.

I want to have a baby,

And be its mother maybe.

For some cannot have one,

But I could have a son.

The future is in my womb,

And I could make us bloom.

This baby could bring us together,

Our community as a tether.
