Urban Legend

We often hear of Urban Legends and myths around

But theres thing that change when we ear a distinct sound.

Shots being fired in our ear

In my neighborhood, thats all we hear.

I rather hear about King Kong and Big Foot

Then have to identify my brother body feeling shook.

Why can't we talk abut Urban Legends instead

Why we only hear about people in the media when they are dead.

Somebody have to tell us about a mythological creature in the woods

Instead of showing us how to roll up and get jooged.

Oakland not what people make it seem

There's tons of good sunshine that beams.

Sometimes you might need a friend to hold

The streets can get cold.

Lets not emphasize the bad

Or make our world just seem so sad.

Lets hope for better a better day

I wish I can see my brother so I pray.

What ifwe become an Urban Legend one day?

Ever wonder what people would say?

Rather its about Neptune or another Greek God from the past

Lets look forward to another good day that'll last.

We hear stories from 1000 B.C., 2003

Lets make the new ones that'll last an eternity.

I'm trying to be an Urban Legend one day

Hopefully people have nothing but something good to say!
