Us
I don’t see her too much,
But when I do, I’m so in love.
When I need her, she’s in touch.
She’s like a gift from up above.
We hang from time to time.
We go to the beach or watch games.
Her smile is so sublime.
I comfort her when she’s shamed.
We have times when we need space.
Still, I never hold her in contempt.
We come back and embrace.
Then we give love another attempt.
She keeps me on my feet.
And I do the same for her.
Her love is something so sweet.
Every day, it makes my heart stir.
