Us
Days,
Days go by,
He has nothing to say.
Cry,
All you can do is scream,
You just cry until your eyes are dry.
Dream,
It’s all been fantasy,
Everything has been torn at the seams.
Absently,
Your stare makes you appear empty,
Over and over your voice is in agony.
Twenty,
It’s felt like twenty years,
Twenty kisses were never too many.
Hear,
He finally listens to me,
Now everything appears so clear.
See,
Now my side is understood,
And we are as strong as can be.
