US

The twinkle in the eye of God

The sons of Earth’s most luscious soil

We are the origin of our own toil

For the doors of Destruction we prod

This is Us

We are slaves to paper

War-crazed and depraved

The cycle deliberately replayed

For wetiko is our creator

This is Us

Greed is our God

Father Capitalism decrepit

We are mere fodder for the mob

Brother Bourgeois incandescent

This is Us

There is still hope for our kind

My fellow brother I love you

Let my love free your mind

From the prison in which society confined you

This Can Be Us
