For Us
For Us
The world is too much for us.
Says the teen walking away after being bullied;
The single mother with no time to live,
As the son of alcoholics pushed down
every time he attempts to stand up.
The World is too much for us
The World Is too much for us.
Said ‘He’ who stood beneath us,
before us and against us.
From the mind of a troubled
depressive, pill poppin seventeen year old. To the bruises and bleeding wounds caught from being
in the wrong place, wrong time.
Why do they take the wrong lives?
The World Is Too much for us.
So flawed, that the snow tries to cover
attempting to impede or stop before
we can ruin. So much that the rain
hits us as hard as it can, to erase
from the concrete, the troubles and
sorrow we created. Where the world
breaks open, intent with swallowing
us whole, or hitting us with waves to
destroy our homes.
The World Is Too Much for us.
It sees us as destroyers. Mystical
malevolence. Created by the hands of our beautiful view of eternal wellness and comfort. Betrayal behind it.
The World Is Too Much For us.
The world seems to revolve around each one of us. Each of us are moons in our
own worlds. Filled with desirable lust, that
ends up being ash..cold.
The World Is Too Much For Us.
Steel dripping off the earth, as silver gold
falls off the hands of its creation. Meaningless beauty.
