She drags him deeper

He tries to claw at the floor

but he is seduced by her

She uses him as a toy

and when she is done

she leaves him there bruised

He lays there for a moment

doesn’t move

doesn’t breathe

then he drags it down

and when she sees

she acts as if she doesn’t care

that she doesn’t care she is hurting him

she doesn’t care about him

Then they do it again

and the next time

he drags it down

it is red all over

On his hands

his wrists

When she finds him

She cries

and calls through the tears

They are both there

in that white room

She calls him stupid

and then he screams at her

He yells until his voice cracks

When he stops she embraces him

She holds him

He is unresponsive

Then he pins her and uses her

His toy

She let’s him

When they stop

He shakes with tears

pushes her away

She doesn’t leave this time

and for the first time

He smiles at her

and for the first time

they lay there

not moving

not breathing

Then when

They finally do

they breathe together
