USED TO

I used to want you, I used to need you I used to think you had everything I needed I used to love you, I used to breathe you I used to think you had everything I needed Thought that I'd be safe with you 'Til you put your hands on me Used to hang onto every word you were saying When you used 2 call to tell me that you loved me Turns out you've got a hollowed out heart Turns out that I was wrong I was so wrong about you What a fool I was to think that you could change I was young, didn't know what I know now I lost my grip and watched it all fall apart. Turns out you had nothing at all to give me All you ever gave to me was Heartache and pain, the misery you caused When I was all alone in my room I cried for you A million tears fell to the hardwood floor I'd cry a million more but you would never care. Thought that I'd done something wrong So ashamed of the way it has come to be It ripped a hole right through my heart Loneliness became my only friend And misery kept me company Even through all my darkest nights I've never felt so lonely as I do right now But I don't like it no, I don't like this loneliness I'm feeling, deep inside I'm going through This secret hell, it scares me to death. Stuck in this secret silence, silent tears Faced with fears, feels like I can't win Voices saying that I'll never win, to just give in And, everyday I'm crying out but You don't see it, that my heart aches And breaks for you For a chance to say, hey! I love you How do you do? but. But, every time that I'm crying I'm hoping you'd see me and Come running on home Back to me, back into my heart and arms But your not there to hold me To kiss away the pain, you're so far away now And, I don't know how to find you Where is your heart?, where is your heart? I don't know how to turn this thing around. Nothing hurts more than The pain of not having you here by my side Nothing hurts more than to hear you say That you don't love me no more Told me that I was the Biggest mistake you ever made I cried cause it hurt me, hurt me so bad I cry for you every night as I lay down I cry for you every night as I close my eyes And fall asleep to the sound of the rain Falling down outside my window. I keep going over and over and over in my mind yeah,I keep asking it over and over and over again Why don't you love me?, Why don't you love me? I'm longing for these broken bridges to mend Why can't you see me? I'm waiting for you to call Hopeless, worthless It's how I have been feeling Because you don't love me, you never did Even though I still love you Even though I still want you Nothing more just you.
