Used affection

I apologize for using Your affection
As a temporary fix
When I was addicted to feeling loved
I feared being alone
So I used you to fill the void
Until I found another home,....
  For my misery to dwell
I used my smile to lure you in
I was the nice guy
You should've been warned about
You let your guard down and I took advantage
You wanted my all
Something I couldn't afford
To give at that time
Now we both moved on
I hope you forgive me
I hope my actions didn't turn you cold
