From Useless to Useful

I wanna go

from where?

From useless to useful

After helping those in need

i realised my foolish clumsy hands were good for something

that i could change a life by just lending a hand

So i wanna become someone who's hands save lives

Whos hands provide warmth for the cold

Shleter for the homeless

Health care for the sick

Someone who can change their lives

by just using my hands

The hands i never thought would do any good

but that people appreciate and hold appreciate them like i should

I take for granted the ability to grab stuff on my own

when others only wish they could hold something in their fingers again

While others are so much worse off than me

who am i to say that these hands cant be used to set someone free

I want that one job

that transforms me
