Uselessly Needed

I'm all you'll ever need

If you cry I'll let you scream

If you thirst I'll leave you be

I don't do anything

But I'll always let you dream

For some this is hard to see

I am small and frail

I'm useless when I'm alone

But in numbers I won't fail

In packs I am strong

With fifty-two I have power

I'll never let your mind wander

I'm society

You'll never be alone

Yet my birth is still unknown

I am Magical

I am always up his sleeve

He will never let me be

He always holds me

Flashes me so artfully

Hides me so deceitfully

I am all he'll ever need

In his hand or up his sleeve

A magicain needs his deck.
