Using my imagination

As I was writing a poem, my dad came to me and asked, " What are you doing son?". I responded gently, "I'm writing poetry". And soon enough he let me be. Thus I continued to produce writing out of inspiration and imagery. But listen to this, you might find it funny, my mommy said, "Hey, maybe you can write a poem about when your parents bothered you when you were writing poetry." My dad did not encourage the idea, but as you see, I have written a poem based on when my mommy and daddy bothered me when I was writing poetry.
