Vacancy

I’m open. I’m seeing the world.

I’m vacant.

Squint and see further.

I’m vacant.

What could be out there?

Where is the danger?

I’m vacant.

Shut the windows, pull the curtain.

Be kind, be kind.

I’m vacant.

I tired myself out.

The world is much too dark

With the curtains closed, it’s lighter.

I’m vacant.
