This is a day where I am reminded...

I am reminded that I am alone...

I am reminded that someone else is alone, but I cant find them.

Short, direct and to the point... This poem is clear, true in that I understand what you are saying, but I am wanting to read more... It would be interesting to use this as an opening line to a somewhat longer piece.
