Valentine's Day (Throwback Project - 6th Grade)

February 14th is a special day

one where cupid comes our way

and makes sure love doesn’t go astray

With his powerful dart,

he spears you through the heart

and makes one say “till death do us part”

Tradition rules with a single rose

you can add a box of chocolates I suppose

but get too cheesy and you’ll be hosed

If that fails, try a card

messing this up is quite hard,

though if you do, you’re chances are charred

Finally, one can opt for expensive

that will show you are very pensive

but a wrong move will make the damage extensive

Keep these tips throughout your life,

as they will save you much strife

and might just earn you a beautiful wife!
