Validation

I've killed myself.

Not literally. Not even close.

But the way I was before

was a living, breathing ghost.

"The only person you can really depend on is you."

At a certain point,

I doubt if that's true.

Well I've found my validation,

my confidence, my Savior.

My self-worth is no longer based on behavior.

I'm being smothered

by His Love like an ocean.

His peace like a river

when He holds me so close, and

it's funny, now I can finally breathe.

Drowning in Holy water.

My only emotion is validation from my Father.

He tells me "You're worth it,"

without hesitation, and

"I love you because you belong to a chosen generation."
