The valley

I walk through the valley No time to dilly dally I face these challenges Make note of my checks and balances Use my resources to grow Hoping one day it will show I look back at the past As i break off this cast Hoping to take a running start Can I really do my part I release these chains Hoping what remains Can go through this valley And conquer and not end up in some alley I pull off the restraints Seeing what the artist paints Shows me walking through the valley Surviving the volley
