-In the valley of dry

-In the valley of dry bones, we set up our homes where we hunger and thirst, we trudge through this land that is plagued by sin’s curse.
-We are locked in deaths dungeon, sealed shut without a key, as we rot away in our sin, wallowing about in our misery.
-We look for light, but find only darkness, we search our hearts but feel only hardness
- we look for bright skies but walk in gloom, we search our souls and find them in a tomb.
-We grope along the walls, feeling our way like people without eyes, we search for the truth because we’re buried in lies.
-Even in at noontime we stumble as though it were dark, even in our whitest form, sin still left its black mark
-Among the living, we were like the dead, we came out of the womb birthed onto our death bed.
-We listen for justice but it never appears, we open our ears but we still can’t hear.
- We look for rescue but it is far away, we need restoration because we’re wrought with decay.

-So he stepped in to save us, bore our sins on his body and forgave us.
-We have been restored because he took our decay, he conquered it when he rose on the third day.
-He took our darkness and made it shine bright, he took our black and turned it into white
-We walk in truth now, whereas before we stumbled in lies, we can now see, because he gave us our eyes.
-He spoke into our hearts, even when we were deaf and couldn’t hear. He shouted “I love you” and gave us listening ears.
-We are no longer bound by guilt and its

chains, because he has set us free by his body that was slain.
-He has set us on the Rock, and has removed us from the valley of dry bones. We no longer live with the curse, because in our hearts he has set up his home.
-Jesus conquered the grave and he now holds the key, he opened the dungeon we were trapped in, so we can stand with him in victory.
-The emptiness we once felt in the depths of our soul, Jesus replaced with vitality and he has made us whole.
-We are not broken, we are not injured, we are not torn because we entered from death into life and our souls have been reborn.
