The valley that speaks.

The sun soon sets

Upon the orange valley

The evening brings forth

Two Children

At the peak of fertility

Innocence is a virtue

Knowledge carries weight

Unmerciful is he, who lies in solitude

The evening closes

The moon burns the night sky

Laughter and soft whispers fill the night

They shouldn’t be there

Forever comes sooner than expected

The future calls

Halls, catacombs

Streets, deserts

Water, slurry

Air, smog

The pain rattles bones

Tenses the fibers of the chest

A soft exhale of worry enters

The blunt relief of the pill takes effect

A friend

Unique in value, but a friend no less

All my love I send

The hoof that hovers over

Taps at the dust

Let us not live in lust

Value over beauty

I always said it

The light that shines

Within your eyes

Escapes the past

Travels fast and exceeds

Please, just, please

Keep moving

She laughs without fear

Stands alone and true

A spirited horse at heart

With an aptitude to part

She is free in the wind

He stands alone and afraid

Forgotten in time and in place

The valley accepts him

Ashes cloud his sin

He never knew a pain like this could be true

Anis green drink in one hand

The taste of licorice soothes

A pen carves out the figure

That lies within the stones

Relieved and satisfied the young boy

Now a man

Sleeps alone and in place

Waiting for her hand
