Valley of the Sun

Have you ever seen so much writing on the walls, Smelled the intoxicating fumes, Heard the sirens and cries for help at 3 O’clock in the morning, Feel the smog of pollution Cutting your breath short? City full of corrupted criminals constantly causing chaos Bang, bang, that’s all I hear Trying to make all of them disappear! This the home To all the criminal chasers, Family supporters, Hard working single parents, Educators and mentors Everyone has a choice Whether to stay Where the heat hugs you like a warm blanket Where everyone knows each other Where the sun shines the brightest The Valley of the Sun Is where I will forever choose to stay.
