Vampire Heart

You can't count sheep without me, You need me to sleep, And if you do sleep i'll hear you screaming my name, Because i'm who will keep you sane, Protected from the monsters that steal you away. Have fun doing what you're doing, I wont be watching or waiting for you. I know your weakness. That medication you take, won't keep you alive for long my darling. Love couldn't save you, you've killed what could have ignited, so i'm prepared for our end. I wasn't lying when i told you i'd be here saving you. I'd face the world with you hand in hand. We could have forgotten everything and everyone, created our own world, just the two of us, but your heart desired your addiction. Out of reach and drifting away, I screamed your name but you couldn't listen, The drug in you took my place. Farewell lovely. My heart beated for yours, every breath whispered your name, but the drug in you plagued your heart, The heart I once loved, The heart I still miss.
