Vampyr

Abiding energy

remains in previously troubled space

Alluring darkness

that subdues onlooking windows

-house structures and enervating eyes-

Nostalgia,

An almost fluid psychic energy

branching into me

like veins and capillaries

Through a shaded path

of deleterious expanses of

Growing grief and mental illness-

“But at what cost?”

Being almost drug-like

-addicting-

Bring vivacity back to me

Not by consuming- but

rather taking only the energy

from the surplus

Ever-cycling life line

-blood-

A quickening heartbeat

Vena cava

Atrium

Ventricle

Valves

Repeat and repeat

-deep beat

Releasing me from cycles of reincarnation

-periods of thinking I am-

Rather knowing the energy vibration

I resonate with

An expedition to finding me

-a poem once forgotten-

Vampyr

IconoclastSalem

Faeries, magick, enchantment, Tir Na Nog, Mother Earth, poetry, the stars, and wonder are all I need in life. Hey, I'm Salem. I'm just an average nobody trapped in forever cycles of hurt and repent. My mind mixes thought and reality ever so painfully which, in turn, creates the chaotic painting that is my life. Who said chaos couldn't be beautiful?
