Van Keuren Manor Pt. 1

I tip toe around

I hear banter.

What is happening here

at Van Keuren Manor?

Who goes there?

She says.

I shift around

Into the darkness

I am not found.

Footsteps creep closer

I turn and hide

Against the oak wall

In the hallway I reside.

I peak around the corner

Beyond my disguise

Before the trap door

A body lies.

Who is this woman

that lurks alone?

In the dark of night

And the killer unknown.

A dead man on the floor

Yet I hear laughter.

A party goes on

Inside this manor.
