Vanilla Twilight

So I had to do a poem out of a song for school! Lets see what you all think.

The stars lean down to kiss you, A

and I lie awake and miss you A

Pour me a heavy dose of atmosphere B

'Cause I'll doze off safe and soundly C

But I'll miss your arms around me C

I'd send a postcard to you, dear B

'Cause I wish you were here B

I'll watch the night turn light blue A

But it's not the same without you A

Because it takes two to whisper quietly D

I'll find repose in new ways E

Though I haven't slept in two days E

But drenched in vanilla twilight F

When violet eyes get brighter G

And heavy wings grow lighter G

I'll taste the sky, H

and feel alive again. I

It also has the rhyme scheme. That is what the letters are.
