Vanished

Wedding bells toll as the words “'til death do us part” Are uttered upon her rosebud lips Vengeance and hate take a room In the best man's eyes A nervous twitch Enters and leaves the groom's fingers Their lips brush only for a second As the knife soars and hits its target The bride, standing in a pool of blood Cries out to her God-- Her world has vanished.
