Vanished

It appears that the season has shifted Searching for hope in the distance Working to survive seems endless Maybe one day it won’t be like this Holding firm on my own promises Seems like I’m gasping for air most days Coming home to these empty hollow walls The echo of silence is unbearable at times Each day that passes gives purpose to the next I just wish I knew what the hell to expect After the life I’ve had I still have no regrets Missing family and friends with their events Still doing my best to let them know I exist It seems my life has a way of being exempt Feels like my number is on the do not call list
