A Vase and a Flower

I am a vase, Tempered yet fragile. You are a flower, Beautiful yet frail. I do not know my purpose Not until I met you. I am here to hold you, Nourish you, protect you. I am your shield, your refuge. But all flowers die, And all vases break.
