Venom

You sunk your teeth inside of me

It was painful at first,

But I guess I conformed to the pain.

Your Venom,

Slowly familiarized itself with my blood,

They become acquainted,

Now they flow together in my veins.

You let go and slithered away,But,

Your Venom,

It stayed.

And the pain; at least you weren't selfish after all.

It was your gift to me and it lives with me.

Your Venom,

It slowly dipped my bones.

It soaked my soul.

It feeds my every cell.

Too strong even for the acids inside,

Your Venom,

It slowly started to eat me up.

But,  I wont let you defeat me!

" You cant take my life . I will take charge."

So I slit my wrist.

I let your venom gush out of me.

I  smile.

Now I lay motionless

Never again will I feel the pain.

Now I'm free,

free from, Your venom.

Even the note besides me says,

"Your Venom!"
