Venomous Chameleon

They think you are sweet and a naive girl

that can't hold her own

but they don't know the you I know

I used to think that you were kind and sweet

but now I know that you just used me

I was there to pull you out

of that dark world no one else would enter

but now that you have no need of me

you leave me out of everything

I don't know how much more I can take,

you don't understand how much is at stake.

If I leave you then others may hate

saying I hurt you

the sweet little girl they see,

is the same one that is breaking me
