The Verdict
I cannot help but think that this wasn't my fault
perhaps you'll find that rather insane
but I blame it on some other thing
perhaps it was my mothers empty embrace
or that no one was there to fill my fathers place
in fact, I blame it on the things that remained unchanged
and especially on my very own brain
It was all
pre-arranged!
unbalanced!
it was not my fault!
I want to do good, but I simply cannot
its ingrained within me
to fullfill my imbalance
I would never do this out of malice
and if the verdict is against me
I wouldn't care
because at that point i would know
that this life isn't fair
and that your verdict has been decided all along
I was just born a con.
