Verify me Then

What is it to verify a poet? We are the voices of the lost and lonely We who see truth where others Would dearly love a lie. What is it you wish to verify? That I can rhyme? That I know form and meter And the meaning behind symbol Motif, Cliche? What is it you wish to say? What is it you want to know? Verify this poem then. Humbly I submit to you. I am but a child, so Verification is... Somewhat unused.

I want to write good poetry, lyrical powerful poetry about God. So whatever I write that is lyrical, powerful and moving--Does NOT come from me, but from Him. I take no credit other than that my fingers typed it.
