VERISIMILITUDE

I used to say say "I am" followed by a number of roles that applied

Then I said "I am" followed by the hobbies and roles that applied

I followed that transition with another " I am" plus relationships

Until one day I said "I am" and was unable to say anything after that..

I thought then maybe I am nothing, how horrid was that?

I decided to hide and explore me until I could answer the question!

I'd like to say it was a simple task, how could one not no themselves?

It took minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years to even come close

Now I say "I am" me and all the roles, wants, talents, thoughts that make "me"

"I am" flawed, difficult, loving, passionate, bold, ever changing and human

"I am" free, wild, tame, mysterious, obvious, everything,  and nothing

Most importantly "I am" a story being written letter by letter each day

A story with no plot, or description, but one with purpose

Thats what "I am".
