Vermilion

A tear I caught with a glottal stop. Before my beating heart I'd stop. Set in vermilion, high atop my soul did stutter of Heaven it mocked. She looked into my eyes ethereal divine like two of a species her and I. I did belie my sundering heart Consciousness Existence an inhale starts. hands trembling reluctantly breathing tell-tale lovers my irrational affliction burning and seething. Your lips bear no degree on my soul as they once did. So here I've waited and I've hated for a girl I once knew set in true vermilion your unmistakable hue.
