Versailles of My Mind

To devour the Devine,

to feel Lucifer’s angelic grip,

softly choking this sinners soul.

Strip me of my halo,

hang it above your bed,

in a form of catching your unholy dreams.

Exhale your favorite gospel verses

so gently in my ear

you’ll build a beautiful Cathedral

in the Versailles of my mind.
