Vessel

2 Corinthians 4:7       New English Translation

An Eternal Weight of Glory

7 But we have this treasure in clay jars, so that the extraordinary power belongs to God and does not come from us.

Vessel

Our spirit receives life because Christ imparts it

Christ imparts His very-self, a substantive action

Christ’s righteousness is then bestowed unto us

God justifies for Christ’s sake that legal transaction

Without participation, there is no justification, it’s true

The Spirit of life and the body of death can’t work together

The Holy Spirit understands, that our body has no clue

To God’s “Will” and cannot do but fights it all together

God Himself has to give true life to our bodies of death

To bring into submission for without God it is fully bereft

Works of flesh it will turn out and that for sure is written

The best we have to offer is just like filthy-polluted rags

If the Holy Spirit dwells in us and our body should enjoy it

The life of Christ imparted from the day that He drew us near

The Spirit of life and The Spirit of Christ, the Spirit of resurrection

The Spirit of God and the purpose of Life delivers us from fear
