Veteran

Great. Everyday i wake up I have to see the face Of the person who kept me prisoner Poisoned my thoughts Abused my courage Constricted my soul Until i became lost In the trench Fighting that war b/w me and myself Sometimes it hurts Always being reminded that that reflection Is living proof That hell exists. As i turn the knob And the crystal clear water falls Hitting my calloused hands And my pain ridden face I become refreshed But the moment i lift my head She's staring back at reminding me She locked me up Tossed the key So i burn in hell Eternally
