Vices are Virtues

I believe in death so that I may gain life
I touch your wounds so that I may be healed
I fast away all food so that I become full
I doubt so that I know my faith is real
I give away all that I have so that may be rich
I have seen evil so that I can know what is good
I call myself a stranger in a foreign land so that I may go home
I have the will to do wrong so that I can choose to do good
I have been broken in order to become whole
I am surrounded by hatred so that your love will be seen
I have been hurt so that I can heal others
