Vici
Th frustrations of life pin me to the ground
preventing me from rising up and reachng for the stars
but i refuse to give up or make a sound
it's like i'm drowning in a fire that's leaving nothing but scars
i feel trapped in my own haunted mind
like i own the key to this cage
but its the heavy lock that i cant find
because its hiding in the emotions and darkness that are blocked by the rage
i've made it this far so i cant back down now
theres only moving forward and never turning back
and we can come together and teach what we know
so we can break these chains and breathe in the happiness we lack
the uncertainty is an unspoken curse
mouthed by the demons clutching your heart
making us think it'll only get worse
and we all know that it's tearing us apart
we've tried to make it through thick and through thin
but it's hard to tay happy when somethings amiss
we've faked the joy for so long i dont know where it begins
all i know is that there has to be more to life than just this
there's always a life lesson, and dont ever forget it
because this is the life you have, you only get one
shoot for the moon and live for the moment
becase in the end you'll love everything you've done
