Vicious Storm

As a hurricane can be foreseen; So can I; But I can be unpredictable. Like tornadoes often move quickly; So can I; But I can linger for agonizing days. Like earthquakes turn your worlds upside-down; So can I; Your stomach too, but people don’t stop. Like droughts make you feel you’re floundering; So can I; But know, it’s just mind over matter. Like volcanoes spout from imbalance; So can I; But sometimes you get away with it. Like a tsunami floods your home; So can I; But I’d rather flood your senses. Like a blizzard freezes everything; So can I; I can even freeze your mind solid. Like hail bruises your body and hurts; So can I; But I’ll hurt you without bruises or stones. Like a dust storm makes it hard to see; So can I; I’ll even make you wish you were blind. I’m the vicious storm you wish repelled Even so, Your medicine probably won’t work. But a neurologist can tell you What I am, And even how to get rid of me. Good luck, trying to guess what I am, Got a guess? A M-I-G-R-A-I-N-E (poems go here)
