Victim

I was your victim that night
Another little girl
Forced into womanhood
Another carefree heart
Emptied and locked shut

I stare into the coldness of your eyes
You are more powerful than I am
I must escape
But I can do nothing
For I'm frozen with fear and shock

You destroyed me, stole my innocence,
Obliterated my last thread of confidence.
You penetrated my body, caused me nothing but pain
I'll never be the same
For you broke me that day
I wish more than anything the flashbacks would end

I begged you to stop, you control me too well
My mind goes blank and tears cloud my vision
Irreparable youth escapes my desperate grasp
I can only beg you to spare me
But by now I've lost all hope

I was changed that night
Maturity thrust upon me
Fear has taken over
Forever trapped in this cold prison
You so mercilessly locked me in
But to you, I'm only a memory
Just another victim
