The Victim in Me

I was once a little girl, so careless and free.

Naive to the world's danger but no stranger to pain.

So careless and free, I walked amongst evil

Naive to its corrupt intentions but no stranger to its malicious behavior.

I was once a little girl.

I had never knew real fear, so genuine and cruel.

Naive to a male's wrath but no stranger to punishment.

So genuine and cruel, Evil walked inside of me.

Naive to who was at fault but no stranger to confusion.

I had never knew real fear.

I then became a girl, so afraid and alone.

Not naïve to much, only to true love.

So afraid and alone, I became evil.

Not naïve to much, only a love that was true.

I then became a broken women.
