Victors

Behold, Our Accuser is stripped down, He is stark naked. Did you see it ? The Old- Serpent's head is crushed ! Ashamed of himself, His sentence has been determined, The horrible bottomless pit, case closed! Didn't you see it ? He is without ground, He has been deposed of his powers, He has lost the keys of death and hell, Under our feet, he and his henchmen lie. He was taken aback, the Condemner now lives in condemnation, "Had I known," he murmurs ceaselessly, " I wouldn't have crucified Him." His arsenals have been depredated. The Accuser didn't understand this, That the Son was foreordained and slain, Before all things began. Chase off the Roaring Lion ! We're no longer his prey ! We've been forgiven, We now loath sin, We are no longer ignorant of his schemes, No longer frightened, love is our guide, Our lustsome desires nailed to the cross, Aliens to the world, yet Uncondemned ! For us, Heaven's door stands agape, We're called, cleansed, justified and glorified, We've Our Redeemer's name on our lips, And His potent Words in our hearts, And His Life, our life - unrelinquishable, The Spirit of Grace and Truth -our guide, We live by faith as He leads us on. We're Battalions of God's Heir on earth, And Brides under His pruning, Joyfully awaiting His glorious return, Beloved, we 're forever Victors, And we unwaveringly hold fast to these professions. Behold , Our Accuser is defeated forever! We're Victors forever.
