Victory

It is such a feeling of elation
Of joy in your own creation
When your feet strike earth
Your lungs just fill with mirth
Speeding,  as if on a wing
You'll hear the whole world sing

then your run gives to fatigue
Still wanting make the league
you stretch to reach for the tape
you fall for that one last take
then you  reach the finish line
then you hear the wind chime

Victory rings out in your ear
Victory, you will ever hold dear.
