Victory

So loss seems to be all I see,

Lost in the ruins that were once me,

Where can I find victory?

I need victory...

I fall and fall and fall,

Time and time again,

Looking for a way out,

How can I make amends?

The things that I have done,

The people I have hurt,

I need a Savior right now,

To pick me up from the dirt.

Because failure stings so much,

And victory is something I need.

Can You forgive after all this time?

I am unfaithful yet You always love,

I never knew I'd find grace in the sky above.

Maybe this is how was always supposed to go,

I needed Your grace again despite the things I know.

I know that I am broken,

I always feel depleted,

There is no sign of victory,

I know that I'm defeated.

Maybe I deserve this...

No.

I am not gonna give up now,

I am not gonna fall to the ground,

Unless it is to my knees,

God just give me victory.
